Meet the Speakers

Dr. Sandra Richter is an Old Testament scholar, author, international speaker, and professor, who currently holds the Robert H. Gundry Chair of Biblical Studies at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. She is best known for her work on the Book of Deuteronomy. She has taught at Asbury Theological Seminary, Wesley Biblical Seminary and Wheaton College, and spent many of those years directing Israel Studies programs focused on historical geography and field archaeology.

Dr Richter  is planning to arrive at Camp Meeting on Sunday and will kick off her series on Monday.  Please note that each of her Bible Study sessions will start at 8:30am instead of 9am so that she can cover all the material.  Sunday, July 19th Bible Study, which will be at 9am, will be led by Dr. Stan Key.  Wednesday’s Bible Study which is led by missionaries will start at 9am as well.  The last Sunday’s Bible Study, which will be at 9am, will be led by Dr. Stan Key.  We will continue to update this site with any additional changes.

Stan Key is a regular speaker at ERC. He serves as minister-at-large for OneWay Ministries. He speaks frequently at churches, conferences, retreats and camps in the U.S. and abroad. Throughout his ministry, Stan has served as a missionary to France, senior pastor and president of the Francis Asbury Society. In 2022, he joined the OneWay team to continue sharing God’s Word in spoken, written and other media formats.

He also enjoys listening to symphonies and watching movies. Stan met his wife, Katy, while attending Asbury University. They have three children and 11 grandchildren. When not writing or teaching, Stan reads theology for himself and Dr. Seuss to his grandkids.
